Default comet.yahoo.com

We are getting a persistent message from our antivirus program (ESET NOD32)
whenever we have the yahoo site open.

We've been hitting the block button, but the message crops up within a second or two several times
over, thereby depriving us of our use of the internet.

I've done a search on comet.yahoo.com from which I've learned that it's a Yahoo sneak that monitors
our web usage and reports relevant data back to its fee paying advertisers.

My question is, should I allow or should I keep blocking?

Probably the correct answer would be to deep six Yahoo.

Here's what the NOD32 message says:

Encrypted network traffic
Untrusted certificate

An application ob this computer (logo Firefox) is trying to communicate over a channel encrypted
with an untrusted certificate.

It cannot be guaranteed that the contacted server (comet.yahoo.com) is the one it appears to
be. This could be an attempt to deceive you or intercept your communication.

Application: C:\Program Files (X86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe (PID 3100)

Company: Mozilla Corporation

Reputation:  Discovered 5 days ago

Certificate: comet.tahoo.com
