Asking for all the help we can get
My little sister's husband was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It has already spread to his liver.
Jason is one of the best people I know. He is a great husband, father, and friend. He is only 40 years old and has 3 young kids. He has been given less than a year to live. We are begging for a miracle. Please include him in your prayers. |

Oh, man! That's what happened to my little brother. I'll keep him in my prayers.

Ah crap, that's bad. Lord give the family strength to deal with this, it's not easy.

Same thing happened to a dear friend of ours.
Prayers uplifted for your brother-in-law. Prayer is indeed powerful.

Jasons CA 19-9 (the markers in the blood for pancreatic cancer) has dropped from 241 to 138 since 2-22. Looks like the prayers and chemo are helping. Imaging will show if the tumors are shrinking or not. If they are, surgery may be possible soon.

That's great! I was just thinking about you guys. Wife had surgery yesterday up in Santa Fe, and is home now. So, I'm playing nurse.

Yeah. Trying to stay positive has been hard, but good news makes it a little easier. I hope your wife is doing good. I make a terrible nurse. I am ok at helping, but get bored sitting around and can be hard to locate when needed. |

The weather's too nice right now to be inside playing nurse. Garden needs tilled and some other outdoor projects that would keep me busy and out of her hair - but once I fire up that tiller and start, I won't hear anything, even if I have my cell phone on me.

Jason is going in for a CT scan today. Things haven't been looking too good lately. Really hoping for good news. Please include him today when you talk to the boss.
