Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Actually my favorite round of all is the .45 Long Colt. But firearms shooting it are usually too big for concealed carry.

Besides, I was just wanting to stir things up. But I can't get everyone disagreeing.

I agree. The .45 Colt has more knockdown power than the .45acp, .40 S&W, and most other common pistol rounds.

If you load it up heavy for a Ruger or Thompson Center, it will equal the .44 Magnum.

Heh! You posted that video that shows there is only millimeters difference between them, and expect to stir the pot?

Myself, I prefer the .45ACP. It is easier to reload than the others due to the (lack of) dexterity in my fingers.

Besides, bigger holes let more blood out of the zombies.

With zombies you have to scatter the brain matter to really be effective.

But if they are democrat zombies, they have no brain matter. So what happens to the empty brain pan?

I like all three calibers (preferably with no mag limit on 9mm using the standard set by the Hi Power). In reference to the quote above, the bark from a shortie .45 without hearing protection is just painful. 40S&W of similar size is far more tolerable, 9mm pretty much moot. I had a snubbie .357 for a few years, a terribly fun gun but for defensive purposes the noise was too much for me. YMMV.

Well with price in the equation, then 9mm hands down. Don't care for the .40 short&wimpy, and the .45 ACP is just too slow. They both cost more to reload and cast for too.

(That ought to get it going.)

The one you can consistantly hit a 5" target with at 25 yards, anything closer is begging for a different fight.
