That’s tough luck
I hope that the insurance company/ies are prompt in paying for the repairs.

Living in hurricane alley I got rid of all big trees around the house. I’ve seen big trees uprooted and gone through a roof not far from me.

Im going to cut down 4 more huge pondarosas any where near my shop and house I got a guy that takes(hauls away) the logs for free. He has a mill makes board lumber. You let the pondarosa pine logs set for a year and the bacteria turns the grain a blue color then he mills it for decorative lumber |

I have to pay the Forest Service $5/cord to haul away their Ponderosa pine logs.

Tree through the roof. That sucks!
There is a stand of many white pines across the highway from my house. One of them fell yesterday evening. The only thing that kept it from hitting my garage was the phone line. It was blocking the highway, so I got my saw out to start clearing it. Not my job, but traffic on the road was backing up. Wife called it in to 911 so they would get someone from the highway department out to clear the road. She made the mistake of telling them I had most of it off the road already. Fucking highway department never showed up. There was still a 15ft piece hanging on the phone line and partially blocking my driveway. That's the last time I do their job for them.

Cab and windows appear to be ok,
Hole pierced through bottom of bed, huge dent in drivers side bed rail/top side panel bent to hell Passenger side bed something whacked (2x4 or tree branch)the rear wheel well dented in and wavy bent side panel. Bed is pretty fucked up That is all I can tell so far until Insurance adjuster gets out here so I can start removing the tree and get the truck out of the shop and cleaned up. Ill post a pic |

Damn, sorry about the truck. I guess next time park it outside since the trees are clearly targeting buildings.
