Breakfast anytime, probably my country backround, biscuits and gravy, sausage and eggs three meals a day if I can get away with it.
Blue pancakes? Heck Yes, Blue, Green, purple, who cares, it's the maple syrup that matters (well okay, Karo or molasses since I retired, but the ideas the same, right?) Being primarily a carnivore, anything without veggies is good, pancakes, waffles, potatos and corn yummy, peppers, beans always, but that's where I draw the line. Actually I blame too many vegetables in my diet for giving me cancer in the first place, probably carrots, peas or broccoli or something caused the whole affair. Great thinking Roxy Regards, ): ... |

When you get down to it, Roxy, a lot of the foods we like or dislike have more to do with mental perception...or just the "touchy/feely" sensation of it in our mouths than anything.
I've known people who wouldn't touch the strangest of things for just this reason. And then there is me and oysters. I tried one ONCE and it was like someone spit in my mouth and said, "Swallow it." |

Mmmmmmm...pancakes! Good no matter when you eat them - as long as they have chunky peanut butter on top, then slathered in syrup!

Cherry or blueberry preserves on my pancakes & waffles. As a kid it was real butter & Log Cabin syrup. The wife always nukes her Log Cabin before pouring it on.
Never like maple bacon or breakfast sausage either. Didn't have real maple syrup until I used it making sausage @ work. That shit is very drinkable. |

I like them with butter and a couple of our eggs fresh out of the coop on top. Great for any time meals!
