Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default My Dads 22 Ruger Pistol

Some of you already know my Father passed away a few weeks ago. Today my Mom gave me his MKIII Ruger 22 that he had just bought a few weeks prior to his death. He and I had it out one time before he passed away, so he only got to enjoy it one time. Its a awsome pistol!!! The wife and i ran a few hundred rounds through it today without any malfunctions. I didn't know Ruger had come out with a push button mag release until i saw this pistol.

We now have a Standard model MKI I bought new when i was 16 years old in 1979, a MKII 50th anniversary model i bought my son when he turned 16 and the MKIII mentioned above. The MKIII is even drilled and tapped for a scope, base included.

Sorry for the long post, just feeling a little sentimental thinking how much i'm gonna miss Dad.

Nice looking family, Tom.

You can't help but love those Ruger .22's.

Tom, you make as long of a post as you want!!!

And I know that's one pistol that couldn't be bought right now for no amount of money!!! I'd have to say that your Dad is proud you got it.

I would love to have one of those.I wish I had inherited somthing like that from my dad.I did get my dads Enfield when he died but one of my un-trustworthy brothers borrowed it and I never saw it again.

Nice. That is one of the best .22 pistols made. And it is something you can remember him by.
