products and get real jobs.

The reality is the sellers make an insane amount of
money because the demand never stops and
Prohibition is always rebelled against.

Prostitution may be the world's oldest profession , but
the distilling of spirits and production of drugs are #2.

People for whatever reason seem to want to get high more than ever nowadays. Doesn't matter the reason, it's the reality. Nancy Reagan "Just Say No" wasn't heeded back in the 80's, let alone today in the 21st Century. It's impacted a huge number of families I personally know and just seems to be getting worse.

Hawaii has an interesting history on the raising of pocololo, Kava Kava, and Opium Poppy (which still grows wild on the islands); drugs are a social leveler of the worst kind when misused...I've seen this up close and first hand though I don't use illegal drugs they have been devastating US society from our very founding...back when I was a 'slum lord' in Seattle housing about 1c people at a time it was a constant chore getting rid of them...and some times their bodies all the while fighting the city in court over it. (The bottom line now appears to be that we, all of US, simply have too many people and if the lower end of society wants to do US the favor and overdose/die in the middle of the street/sidewalk then so be it.

Some people have a rather weak constitution which QUICKLY leads to alcoholism and or drug dependency....hell some are habituated to ketchup. There are some who are high functioning drunks and dopers. We all make personal choices no? Some just crash and burn with anything...including pussy...and video games. Coping is at times a real shark toothed man eating and soul destroying bitch.

It is sometimes difficult to live in the present. Impractical to live in the past. Impossible to live in the future.

Some find escape into a bottle...others....
