I chimed in because theological whataboutism or greasy pastors is not why people hate Christians or as you put it "christians". They hate sanctimonious assholes and armchair theologians wagging their bony fingers in everyone's face pretending to be an internet pope graced with infallibility. They hate the rank hypocrisy from said mouth organs and project that hatred on innocent people who love Christ. They also hate God because same said sanctimonious assholes make God out to be an asshole who gleefully rubs his ethereal hands together at the thought of throwing someone into Hell over the slightest breach of protocol and error.

There are two types of people: those who hate God and say so and those who claim they love God but their actions say otherwise. No amount of bible thumping, theology spewing, or crying heresy changes the metric for the objective observer who isn't deluded by their own prideful ignorance.

It is interesting how these comment sections go down...always. The forum is "Chaplains Corner"....presumably setup to speak about Biblical and or spiritual issues. And like EVERY Christ centered YouTube video or FakeBook post, those who have no interest in the subject cannot help but chime in with their own self-righteous commentary disparaging their strawmen and emerging as the know-it-all in their own comment. Odd how they cannot simply click past and go back to their ****er, ****er, ****er...****ers are bad threads.
