Love bolt action shotguns, aand because they don't jam like a pump with a disconnect, too. Been searching for a used youth model .20 gauge box mag fed bolt action, too.

Had a 20 gauge with a screw-on choke. Have a 16 gauge Mossy bolt action with screw-on choke. Don’t particularly like either but it’s a family heirloom, stuck with it for now.

16 yrs young up in Conn. I walked 10 miles round trip to pick up my hard earned caddy money Mossberg .16 gauge screw on choke shotgun. Walked 5 miles back with the shotgun over my shoulder and a box of shells.
Imagine doing that now? Holy sheet the SWAT would have yah pinned to the pavement. Have one in the closet now my bud knew it was my first shotgun and grabbed it at a yard sale for me. Lot of rabbits and a few pheasant went in the stew pot thanks to that weapon. Really nice guns.

A friend of mine had a bolt action mossy 16 ga. that jammed like a mofo. I never had trouble with a pump jamming.
