Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default How many of you have a garden this year?

I have a very small one. I have a couple each of banana, jalapeno, and bell peppers. And I have one hot chili pepper plant. I have 4 tomato plants. And that's it.

Being that I live by myself, it's less expensive to buy my other fresh vegetables at the farmer's market.

I used to plant corn, but it cost too much to water them in the desert. Id have to sell each ear for $100 each

Just put it in last weekend. Not the usual variety; couple of different kinds of tomatoes, some pickle cucs, and a jalapeno pepper plant.

We have several small gardens. We have lots of kale and collards growing from the fall garden.

Several types of tomatoes are growing and we have picked some already. A few day ago Kay filled a 2 gallon bucket with jalapeno peppers and canned 4 pints of them. She sliced them and added some sliced cowhorn peppers (from the garden) and garlic with them. She gave some away and there are many more on the plants. I'll cook some jalapeno boats/poppers tomorrow.

We also have cayenne, datil and bell peppers growing. One garden has yellow squash growing. The concord grapevine has many grape clusters that need a couple of more months to get ripe.

We have several blueberry bushes that the berries are just starting to ripen.

I was thinking about a small garden.......but living in farm country... makes it to easy to just go to one of the markets and buy whatever I want..CHEAP.

Hell my neighbors give me more fresh veggies than I can eat...

Last year I was awash in corn, onions and termaters.
