Still NO FREE money from Uncle Sugar here I am calling the W.H.
All kidding aside I really wish they did not pass that money out. I am not rich but I don't need the damn thing. Myself and aviator agree its only going to hurt the economy in the long run. We will be at 25 1/2 BILLION $$ in debt once that last check goes out. Buy a wheelbarrow your gonna need it to carry your money.

I agree too that we really didn't need it! My 401K is slowly recovering. I have a decent amount of money in checking, savings & the gun safe. Then again I have for most my adult life! Then again I'm driving a 20 year old truck.

I haven't received a check. If I do, I'm thinking about not cashing it. I believe the money will be used against us at some point.

I can get by without it as well. But as long as all the Shaniquas and Pedros that don't deserve it get it, I'll take mine.

Well one thing Rick its one concept to print money hand it out and people buy things then bingo the economy blossoms? Worked out great for Germany, Venezuela and others then. Whoops then they ran out of paper and ink and baskets to get their money to the stores.
Children playing with stacks of hyperinflated currency during the Weimar Republic, 1922 Interesting facts: It’s usual for economic professors to tell a hyperinflation story to their students: A gentlemen had gone to a store to buy groceries and had brought his money with him in a wheel barrel. He was distracted somehow and left his money and wheel barrel unattended. When he returned he found the pile full of money still there, his wheel barrel however was nowhere to be seen. https://rarehistoricalphotos.com/hyp...republic-1922/ Forget the virus hyperinflation is going to get the shooting started. PREP buy it cheap and stack it deep. |

I believe the real shortages are going to happen when folks come out of this "isolation". They will be looking to buy more food as restaurants reopen.
Farms and dairies have been dumping their produce and milk because they can't get it to market. Then I heard there was an outbreak of a bird flu at some chicken farm back east. While things are interesting now, it is going to get more interesting. I don't believe it will go full on Mad Max, but it may come close to Great Depression interesting. Either way, I was able to order some powdered eggs, butter, and milk last night. If I can get them, I'll be putting in some more chickens as soon as I butcher and can the old ones I already have. |
