Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default New Springfield XD-E

Dang, I really like my Springfield XD45. The grip is just right for my hand and it is a pleasure to shoot. But, it doesn't give me the same satisfaction as a 1911. Perhaps because it has no "soul" compared to the steel and wood pistol.

Now, Springfield has gone and added a model with an external hammer....this may be something to look at when they come out with one in .45ACP.

Obviously they didn't listen to me when I told them to get rid of that damned fiber optic front sight.

Quote:
There are some tools so basic, you can't imagine being without them. But even essential tools can be refined and improved.

That's the principle behind the new XD-E™: the best elements of the world-renowned XD® Series, condensed into a weapon so intuitive, comfortable and accurate, you can't imagine being without it.

The XD-E™ sculpts unmatched Point And Shoot® ergonomics into a sleek frame just an inch wide, for hand and holster fit so satisfying you'll take it everywhere. The low-effort slide practically racks itself, so handling's a pleasure. The exposed hammer clearly shows gun mode, and the single/double action trigger shows respect for your shooting style, unlike other compacts.

Then there's the grip: GripZone® provides active texture that matches your grasp like a handshake, improves stability, and feels incredible. Three magazine options let you personalize concealability and capacity. Impeccable feel, weight and balance launch the XD-E™ from invisible to impactful in an instant, for go-anywhere confidence unlike any you've felt.

New shooter or skilled gunner, wrap your mitt around the new XD-E™ and you'll know. This is more than a hammer. It redefines what your hammer should be.

Fuck Springfield and cock river products..........

Buy a Hi-Point.......least when you pop a thug brown or a baby crayon....you'll only lose $140......Other wise look for a Colt Government model,,,,if you can still find one.

I may look at them now.

What's wrong with a Colt Government Model?....I love mine...even if I only paid $136.00 for it brand new...those were the days.

Nothing wrong with the 1911, except ammo capacity. The little run in I had a while back with a couple van loads of wetbacks made me rethink my carry options. The XD45 gives me 13+1 of .45ACP vs. the 8+1 in my 1911.

If I pull the XD9 out of the safe and carry that, it gives me 19+1 in the same sized package, using the same holster. I just feel more confident shooting .45 than 9mm.

I'm just not a huge fan of the striker firing system. It works without any problems, but just doesn't feel right to me. That is probably due to years of shooting single action revolvers and autos.

Well, side weapons are not really designed for a big firefight. Besides, I can very well tell you in a situation like that...nobody wants to die first, makes no difference if you have 7 or 13 rounds. just the fact that you have the capability to kill some of them makes you king. Chances are you're never going to hit all of them anyhow.

Get a Mac10 they are cheap! May not hit the side of a barn but they have a lot of firepower.

I have a Colt Mark 4 / 1911.
I like it a lot.
I have a Glock 21 / .45 cal.
I also like this a lot.
Very nice night sights and dead on target.
But thanks to Gov Cuomo , in the Soviet Socialist Republic of NY,
It is unlawful to sell a magazine , with greater than a 10 round capacity.

Here is the problem with that.
The plug that Glock foogazy'ed into the mag , makes the 10th round
sit improperly in the mag, and guarantee you to have a stage
2 or 3 jam.

I was talking to a Force Recon 5 tour Vet 2 weeks ago.
We both discussed this problem.
The ONLY way not to have this problem is to only put 9 in the magazine.

I have to go to America to buy a proper 13 round magazine for the weapon .

With a hammer I will consider one, I always liked them, I don't know if I would feel comfortable with a mini in my hands but I'd take one in .45.

I just paid $250 for a used SAR ARMS B6P 9mm with the 4.5" barrel. Got delayed and will pick it up next week. EAA started importing them back in 2012. They are a polymer frame copy of the CZ75. I wanted one then but never got around to ordering one. Mine came like new with the blue clamshell box and one 16rd magazine. Tombstone Tactical sells 17rd magazines at $23 each w/$10 flat rate shipping. It is Sa/Da and is hammer fired. I need to order more 9mm as I only have 228 rds in the house. I have a 9mm Keltec P11 I carry even though I have a 3.5" 1911. I just feel better with the extra rounds. My P11 can use S&W 59/69 series 15rd magazines.

Looks like an interesting pistol. Might be worth looking in to.
