I bought a new vehicle
I had to replace my totaled out Accord so today I bought a 2017 Equinox AWD with 61k on it,,with employee discount I got it for a sweet $13,500 and some change out the door.
I tried to buy a few Hondas off the auction sites but got outbid past retail on them because there seems to be a used car shortage now too,,everything is going over what book value was 2 or 3 months ago,,,,lucky for me we took this one in 2 months ago and my boss is nice enough to let me have it for cost. I do plan on putting a 1.75 inch lift on the front and 1 inch on the rear after the GM warranty expires in 40,000 miles,,just a little extra for getting around in the snow hopefully no more deer hits for awhile

I got a good deal for sure,,,working at a dealership has it's advantages.
After driving it a few days I'm getting more used to it,,kind of the best of both worlds because it drives like a car but you sit up up like higher like a truck,,not as high as my Silverado but high enough for better visibility., I like the color too Pogo,,there isn't a lot around this color but it's one of my favorites on this model,,we had a gray one which I like too but it was 1,000 dollars more, lower miles but not in as nice of condition,,I detailed this one for the lot a month and a 1/2 ago and it was clean,,local trade that we sold new and serviced,,a creampuff for sure. |

Very nice. What we would have bought if not the RDX.

I looked an RDX online,,it was a beauty but the gas mileage was terrible, the Equinox gets 26 average between town and the highway and I drive 40 + miles one way to work so fuel economy is a factor.
I may a program that you plug in the OBD2 port and improves the gas mileage by up to 5 mpg and gives you some better shift points as well |
