I think it was after 43 the option to pick and choose left.

I'm still running 42. I was having trouble with newer versions not working with some of my add-ons so I reverted back.

Brian, I have 46. Loot at : Tools - Options - Privacy - History - then select: Use Custom Setting for History It allows to to save cookies, or delete them upon exiting FF or not accepting them at all.
At least it shows up on my V46.0.1 I guess that's what you want but I may be mistaken.

Some you need for functionality, like online shopping sites. But even then, once you get the ones you need, you can delete the tracking and advertising ones. Ebay, for example. I only accept a couple from them and the rest I deny. Amazon, the same. They don't need to know what else I do, especially in other sites. I take the few extra seconds to go through that process and I have zero problems from viruses, like key-loggers, adware, or whatever. The later versions of FF, I started seeing them show up.

CCleaner is good software, but it only cleans once whatever is already in the computer. I like to head off what I can, before it gets into my computer.
Bleachbit is to Linux what CCleaner is to Winders. Brian |
