Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Thumbs up Getting a "Micro-Cell"

Was on the phone with AT&T, trying to straighten out an issue with texting from the computer and the tech wanted me to reboot my phone. I had already explained to him that we lose signal like 3-4 miles up the road, so like an epiphany, he said Oh... you have no signal. He kicked me up to the next guy on the ladder and I explained the whole thing to him, too. He asked if I wanted a Micro-Cell. I said I would, but I'm not paying for it, because we already pay dearly for the service. So, to make a long story even longer, we're getting one for free. It should be here Monday.

Ironic about reception in certain areas.
A neighbor has the same service (Verizon) as I do. He is only half a mile away.
He constantly loses his signal (even the same type phone) and I seem to always maintain my signal, no matter where it comes from.

Like Realtors say, "Location, location, location."

We have three antennas close by, which gets the techs and I in arguments. "You have service!" Me, "you come here and show me..." Maybe it's me and everybody else that's stupid and not the Indian named Richard, who's 50,000 miles away.

You found an Indian named Richard?..

I've been dealing with internet issues for the last few days.

I read my modem, my signals are all within specs, downstream and upstream, my Noise to Signal Ratios are all within allowable limits, but my download speed goes to 1 MBPS at times while upload may stay at 11 MBPS so you figure that one out, they want to send a tech to check my wiring...they are so full of shit it's unbelievable.

I just finished rewiring my modem, all the way from the cable in through a 2Gh splitter right into my modem, which required crawling through the subfloor, and squeezing into the attic, new cable, new splitter new terminals, the crap still acts up, so they're coming Sunday morning to see what the problem is, either give me a new cable and splitter at the utility line all the way into my house or a new modem. When it works my signals are great now and I'm getting 80MBPS download speed.

Sounds like some corrosion in a connector somewhere.

It will work better than ever when they get there. They will not find a single problem. Had it happen to me.

Talking

I wasn't aware "Scott" was a traditional Indian name but I've talked to him.

Must be an easy word for those India scammers to pronounce. I've talked to him too.

You guys are lucky. I always get a woman named Jenny with a very high pitched voice and I can't understand a damn word she says.
