E-Bay has good Arisaka stuff now and then. Arisakas are starting to come out of the woodwork as the WWII vets really start to pass into history. I picked up some nice German field gear from a widow in my neighborhood. Yes, I paid her fair market value. However, guys at gun shows, if they don't know what it is, sucks to be them. Widows, I will not scam, but guys, who should know what they have, if they are selling it...well... I am still looking for a good (NON import marked) Weimar, or Nazi proofed Kar-98, and a nice Italian Carcano. Carcano's are hard to find, since LHO used one to kill a sainted Kennedy! (Barf, gag) Many people turned them in for destruction in the early, mid 60's. My old chief (he was a patrolman then) remembers getting hundreds of Carcanos in the three years after the Kennedy shooting, and the owners asked that they be destroyed. Makes me sick, but that is the way it was.
