Had one of those, years ago, when I fired it, in the evening, I was allmost blinded.
Fire came from allmost every possible orrifice. Especially around the bolt/chamber area. Probably one that had a million rounds ran through it. |

Neat looking rifle. I've not seen too many of those.

I always kind of wanted one of those rifles but never got around to it.
I remember when those French Lebels were selling for $10 each in Shotgun News. Anyone else remember the Ye Olde Hunter advertisements? Those were the days. But those days are over.

Yep I remember those old Shotgun news adds. AND, those cheap military firearms is partly what brought about the 68 GCA. Via our very own gun manufacturers. Irregardless that a cheap Carcano shot somebody of little importance. |

Visited Ye Olde in 1961. Had a wall of demilled .45s for $2 each. Lugers and Webleys for $20 OTD.
A Jap Zero in front along with Bazookas galore. Machine guns all over the place. Alas.....My pay was about $120 a month...USMC. |

Very nice. Would love one of those some day. Didn't see one at the show this weekend but I did pick up 2 Carcanos for the collection.
