Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Kenetrek Pac Boots

Anyone own boots like these?
https://www.midwayusa.com/product/3492160759

looking to keep my feet dry.....

Waterproof, goertex, and snow seal coated, leather hunting boots , hiking through wet grass, alfalfa, etc , I always still get soaking wet socks and feet

Regular pull on rubber boots(like fireman boots) are hard on my feet, uncomfortable

I had some LL Bean Maine Guide boots I left behind when I moved to Texas. After I left them behind my dad replaced the felt liners & wore them every winter until he died.

Why buy chicom bootlegs when LL Beans are still made in Maine?

400 grams of Thinsulate might make your feet sweat more then getting them wet! My Bellville goretex line boots keep my feet dry to the point I don't eve try to avoid mud & water.

I also owned Lacrosse rubber boots for hunting. Personally I like boots that breath. All rubber boots tend to give me the fungus. Got a buddy who thinks Muck Boots are the bomb.

I have a pair of high leather duckboots identical to those I bought at Cabela's about 10 years ago. They're great for the winter in deep snow which is when I wear them. Mine weren't insulated so I either wear 2 pairs of socks or one pair of very heavy ones. I think I paid around $200 for mine back then.

I still have a pair of White's pac boots I bought at a lumberjack supply store in Olympia, Washington about 30 years ago. Kept the leather uppers oiled, but I don't know how the rubber lower part is doing. I'll probably find out in a month or so.

I have worn similar boots (sorel brand) in the snow and they were warm. However, the design of the boot provides little support, so they are not good for long distance use.

Cold weather footwear should be loose fitting to allow unrestricted blood flow to you feet.

Danner boots and Pendleton wool shirts. Used to be good, US made stuff, but even they sold out and now most of their stuff is overpriced imported shit.

I have some Lacrosse Pac Boots,,,old school with felt liners,,they are great for sitting the tree stand for long periods of time,,I usually put hot hands foot warmers in them if the temp is going to be below 20 degrees F though,,once my feet get cold I'm done

I am not sure where you live but I thought down south somewhere,,200g maybe a bit better for you to keep the overheating and sweat to a minimum
