Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

gun

A couple of days ago I called the gun shop that offered the Lynx shotgun for $454, they didn't have it in stock but could order it from their warehouse. So I told them that I would come by and pay for it so that they could get it in the store for me to pick up. Guy on the phone says to come on.

Yesterday my wife and I drove there (38 miles one way) and the guy then tells me that I have to order it on-line and come back and pick it up from him. I asked him why he couldn't order for me since on-line and the store front were the same company and I was THERE ready to pay him for it. He says it's company policy. So we went back and forth for a minute or two and he finally says OKAY but it will cost you $50 more to do it that way.

At that point my wife escorted me out of the store and reminded my of my temper. She was right, it wasn't worth an aneurysm over since that asshole held all of the cards.

I came home, got on-line and found another gun store that could get it for me for only $3 more than the first place and it is located in Gainesville Flarda near where my daughter lives. I needed to go to my daughter's house to fix something for her anyhow. So this morning we went to that gun shop to order it and that guy says that I have to order it on-line and pick it up there. ???? I looked at my wife and said "Not this sh!t again".

So the man helping me says for me to take a look at a shotgun that they had in stock that was like what I was looking for (I had printed their add of what I wanted and took it there with me). I told him that an AR platform shotgun wasn't even close to what I was looking for. At this point another man approached, having heard what was going on, and offered to help me.

After I told him that I wanted to order the gun in his store while there he explained to me that the store and on-line ordering were separate, company policy. At that point I asked him to please explain why he wouldn't take my cash or credit card since I standing there in his store wanting to buy something and have him order it for me. So he thought for a minute and said "you're right. I'll do it". I think that he may be the owner or owner's son but he placed the order while I was there and did the background check and I paid him. He said that it may take 8 to 12 days for it to come in. Hopefully it will go smooth from here.

BTW, the store was very nice, laid out well and modern. The employees acted professionally. They have a gun range there too. Kay bought her some Black Rifle coffee and .380 rounds while waiting on me to get finished. I hope that this purchase is worth it.

I like the feel and weight of the VR60. Shoulders well and feels good, and priced at $449 @ sportsman's warehouse. Downside (if is is at all) all furniture is plastic.

The VR80 is a good bit beefier. Found it too heavy for myself to handle comfortably.
All furniture and barrel shroud is anodized aluminum. $649 @ SW

Comes with 5 rd mags with 10s available.
Thanks. I like the looks of the VR80 but I wanted something different than the AR platform.

Just wondering if you got it yet, and what you think about it?
