Why The Model 1911 Will Never Die
I sure like the two 1911A1's that I own. Until I read this article, I knew that Wilson Combat made 1911's but, did NOT know, that the grip safety was eliminated, in their version.
Over 100 years later, the demand for John M. Browning's Model 1911 is still going strong Quote:

I have a Remington 1911 R1S stainless steel clone I won at a gun bash on a 5 dollar ticket.... Only issue was I had the feed ramp polished because the first round hung up.
It works great now and I only use Wilson Combat mags with it. |
