Beretta Customer Service
"Hello, Customer Service."
"Hello. I have an Outlander shotgun and the front bead sight fell off and I'd like to order a new one." "May I have your name and address, please, and I'll get a new one out to you today in the mail. May I help you with anything else?" "How much will it cost?" "No charge." "Thanks! That's all I needed." "Have a nice day, Mr. Sanders."

I like the Beretta company. I also like their firearms. Speaking of I just picked up the Beretta 92FS, Italian Police issue (unissued condition), that I ordered from Dan's Ammo in Pennsylvania. The last one he had and it's premo, new, unfired since leaving the factory, and in the original box from Italy.
Sorry, didn't mean to hijack your thread. We now return you to your regularly scheduled program....

Beretta is the only hand gun I can shoot and hit my target with. I wonder what I can do with a Shotty.....

The only semi auto I've shot, in 25 years, is my Ruger P85.
I couldn't believe how well it shot, dead on. Haven't shot anything but revolvers since. Seriously? I really don't care much for autos anymore. |

That is good customer service. Now I like my Rugers, but I sent one in on a recall and they told me about 4 months to get it back. So I told em I was an undercover FBI agent and my life depended on that weapon.
They had it back to me priority mail 5 days later.

I sent both of my Ruger Vaqueros in because the sights were a tad off center. The fixed both of them and I got them back within three weeks from the day I shipped them. They paid for shipping both ways. That was several years ago.
I have a Beretta M9. I bought it brand new. I like the way it feels in my hand and the way it shoots. I just don't like 9mm.

I talked it for granted that the factory should not be seen as a total source of customer support when it comes to firearms. I know a good gunsmith and go that route.

My problem is, the gunsmith is not very competent in my area.
First thing he wanted to do was drill and tap and all kinds of nonsense. All I did was tap an old electronics screwdriver into the hole and unscrew the piece that was broken off. No drilling or tapping anything, and I didn't have to leave my gun with him for 2 weeks, like he quoted. |
