First New Technology for Ammunition Cases in Decades; Shell Shock Technologies, LLC
This is pretty interesting. The only two-piece cases I ever saw were metal base and plastic bodies. They never did catch on.
These can be reloaded with their special dies. They can also be picked up with a magnet. Quote:

OK, sounds good! I'd like to give them a try; but where do I purchase these NAS3 cartridges; and what bullet configurations do they come in?

Interesting comments, especially from the idiot gallery.
Actually, at this time there are no actual venders, but I think the concept is great. |

Are they accepting deposits now for the dies and cases that will be delivered sometime eventually in the future, maybe?

Reminds me of almost every issue of "Popular Mechanics," where weird is always better.
How can nickel and stainless be cheaper than brass? What BENEFITS are there? Better accuracy? Better life? No more trimming? Will reload data be the same, or will all loadings have to be re-worked? How can a two-piece something be stronger than a one-piece? |

I read the articles and like a lot of things these cases sound to good to be true. Probable because of the advertisement tone of the the articles. Brass has served well for a long time and will continue to do so. However, if this case works the way the advertisement/articles say it will I'd be willing to give it a try. Picking them up with a magnet, an extreme spread of 3ft/sec, loading one case 40 times all sounds good, maybe to good. How about the cost per case and dies? Haven't heard much about that.
