Well one of the big boys spotted what I did and bought the company. ADD: People also ask Who bought Tasco scopes? In 2002, Bushnell bought the sporting optics company Tasco. Tasco is a major international distributor of telescopes. The company's line of products mainly target amateur astronomers but has grown to include many products besides telescopes.

With regard to the ACOG, I disagree. I have old eyes, can't use iron sights, need to fiddle with focus settings on zoom scopes if zoomed near or far, and need good eye relief for rapid use.
I also like the 3x or 4x magnification as I can use it with both eyes open. Since I'm right handed and left eye dominate, the ACOG makes this possible. Bottom line, I need optics to be accurate. The ACOG works well for me. |
