Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default A Homemade Cheesesteak Is a Thing of Beauty

When I was working a job in Ridley, PA - a bedroom community of Philly - there was a sandwich shop on every block, sometimes two, going down the main drag.

I finally settled on a favorite shop when the owner, upon finding out I was from the Southwestern US, started making my sandwiches with jalapeno peppers instead of green bell peppers. Man, they were good! It has taken me years to find a place that makes the cheesesteak sandwiches similar to those little shops in Philly. I've found that any place which boasts they make "authentic Philly cheesesteaks" really has no clue what they are doing, and are depending on the public to be more ignorant than they are.

In Albuquerque, the closest you can get is a little sandwich shop near the University calld, "DG's Sandwiches". They come damned close, but don't quite reach perfection. Philly has a lock on making those sandwiches just right.

A well-made cheesesteak is a thing of beauty. All the ingredients kind of…fuse together. The thinly shaved beef, the glistening caramelized onions and peppers, the molten liquefied cheese—all densely packed into a pillowy-soft roll. You hoist it like a barbell, take a bite, and think to yourself, “My God, this cannot be good for me.” But you know what? You’re going to eat it anyway, and you’ll probably slice off another half of the half that’s still sitting on the cutting board. Why? Because this homemade cheesesteak is the best thing you will eat all month. Hands down. Just look at it. You know it is. You’ve got 27 other days in February to try to be healthy. Super Bowl Sunday isn’t one of them. — Adam Rapoport

I was born in Philly,(Hahnemann Hospital) raised right outside of Philly in Lower Bucks County. I'm in S.W. Florida now. 1400? miles away. There's a man in the next town with a restaurant called The Philly Connection. Every morning, on the first flight from Philly, there's a load of 'Amoroso Rolls', fresh, 2.5 hours out of the oven. That's what makes the sandwich. During 'season, can't get near the place. Oh yeah. They also serve 'Scrapple' for breakfast. It's a 45 mile round trip for me. Any closer and I'd look like 500's avatar.
