Did you know a magnet will shut down a computer?

Sitting here at the desk with the laptop open. Have a small ashtray magnet with some screws in it.
So I move the magnet out of my way onto the open laptop keyboard, bingo shut it right down. No idea why no damage done just had to re start it.

Seems everything came back up o.k. Bears? Computer guys probably knew not to get a magnet near the computer hell I did it by accident.
But damn it shut it like right off. Won't do that again.
