My .02 on Windoze 10.
O.K. I read the reviews from yall here and was pissed I had to get it. Now don't shoot I know I know invasion of privacy and all. But be damned if I don't really like it.
Geek squad told me it is based on an improved Windoze 7? Hell he was not kidding. It really is for me as a advanced novice really easy. $470 out the door for a Lenovo G70 and this thing is lightning fast and simple to use. Still on a learning curve but they have a site built in to answer any questions yah have. Windows 8 one I had went back where it came from. RTO told me a learning curve but I am slowly getting it.

That's cool Tim. Just try not to tear this one up and don't take it out in the boat with you.

Every day they offer me the free upgrade. My motherboard got fried after five years of use and my friends son recovered the good parts and built me a new one for $170 in new parts. I gave him $75 bucks for his time. I'm going to hold out a while longer.

Wife and I are sending our puters into where she works to have XP replaced with Win7.
Earlier they offered to upgrade them to Win 10, I told her about the warnings, regarding 10. Their puter tecs looked into the possible problems and said, "Okay, we'll do 7 for you then." I saved all my relevant 'bookmarks' to my documents because she said those would be erased. That 'little' process took me about three hours one evening. |
