Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default HELP needed

I am a computer dumbass...and now have a problem that I can find no good
answer to. That is, no good answer that I can understand.

An 'advisory panel' has cropped up and does not go away after restarting the
PC, although it is movable to one side.

It is headed: McUICnt.exe - Entry Point Not Found

The message says: The procedure entry point BCryptHash could not be located in the dynamic link library bcrypt.dll.

Google searches have not produced any explanation in plain non-tech language
that I can comprehend; so I'm hopeful that one of our more tech-savvy
member can point me in the right direction.

I know how to fix that.

Put your laptop in the road and run it over a few time, then head to best buy or staples etc and buy a new laptop

Won't work...this is an older PC that would probably do untold damage to the
underpinnings of the Cruiser, especially as I lost the skid plate to someone
else's runaway wheel some years ago.

You could do a Windows restore to a day or two before you got the message.

This is for Windows 10 but you could search for restore instructions for your version of windows.

What kind of antivirus do you have Rick? Maybe run it and see. If you have Windows Defender run it.
