Why?
Would my desktop, on startup, refuse to accept input from any of the three keyboards I have?
All being plugged in. Not Bluetooth. I am getting a keyboard error message on startup and am unable to enter pin information.

Are they plugged into a USB port? If so make sure those ports are working by going into BIOS and verifying they are on. Accessing Bios depends on your system. Also are you running Windows? Maybe the drivers for the USB and or keyboard is missing. Is this something that just started now?

I think we'll find out in a few days windows was hacked.
The "p" key wouldn't work on my work PC at 5:30 AM, even the on screen keyboard, and when I googled it there was all kinds of crazy crap about peoples keyboards not working. Reboot worked for me although I bet that's what plants the seed is the reboot. At least that's how I'd write my virus. |

A neighbor here got a message from what appeared to be a friend and it had a PDF attached. He did not look at the address hidden behind the sender's name, so he opened it and it locked up his computer, then started sending the same mail with HIS name to all his contacts. Luckily I know better than to trust...so I deleted it.
