Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Bought a Surefire flashlight.

https://www.amazon.com/SureFire-Tact...23860_70668670

In the process of being shipped. Has good reviews on Amazon and puts out 600 lumens. Did not want to go much higher on the lumen light output as I found it just heats up the batteries and goes through them like crazy.
Should be a good defensive weapon when problems arise?

I hope you don't get addicted to them like I did! Been buying them for a long time & they tend to out do themselves with new & improved lights. Got 2 of their vampire scout lights some I don't have to move them around. Great I.R. illumination for when I'm wearing the pvs-14.

Yup some people collect knives I like flashlights.
I have mag lights like 44044 but true boon they keep coming out with new products.
I read where heat is the enemy of the light batteries so it is a compromise with the higher illumination lights. Would think 600 lumens should reach out their??
Oh get those CR123 batteries off Amazon for good prices. Hell Walgreens here wanted $20 for two of them. You get a dozen on Amazon for that.

Surefire makes quality products 4th. None that I have owned or had issued have failed me since I first started using their stuff about 20 years ago. Expensive, but then most quality products that last, cost a bit.

First SureFire I owned was the Z2 Combat Light. Bought one for a best friend of mine for his B-day. They went to Africa on our first safari & were handed out like part of their tips.

One think I wish I had was their hurricane lamp It was like a battery carrier but had a single bulb.

I lost a few over the years & it's pissed me off. Every time irt's been @ the seasonal job. Think I've lost 3 or 4.

Pisses me off seeing where they have gotten greedy. Lanyards use to be longer & have end pieces. Now they are shorter & knotted!

I have a "Duracell 1000" that is the brightest flashlight I've ever owned.
Any brighter and a guy could be blinded on the back side.

Your not kidding Erik. Oh my God I just took this outside to test it. Hit the switch and it was like a nuclear bomb went off the whole damn neighborhood lit up.
Now this one is 600 lumens and I don't think I would want to go much stronger? Run time is 1.5 hours so they state on high. More on low which I am still figuring how to make work.
Yup so far its got a 5 star from me. As a defensive tool you shine this in someone's eyes they are not seeing for awhile I would bet?

Be glad you never dealt with the older bulb versions as they burnt out often. I have an early led conversion head for a Surefire M-3 Combat light that has multiple led's in it.

Yes I have a couple of lower end good flashlights I don't have replacement bulbs for boon. I like to have spare bulbs for these things.
I asked on Amazon about bulbs for the P2X and did not really get an answer as to a replacement? Guess I will just call Surefire?
Damn only thing even close to the light output of this thing is an airplanes landing lights.

For one in your pocket, I really like this one. I usually use the low setting, and it even fits in the chamber of most firearms of decent caliber... with the bolt open, of course.
