I figured out what to put on my boat floor
I figured out what I'm going to do with my boat floor and walls. I'm going to do it myself with Grizzly Grip. http://www.grizzlygrip.com/
I decided on a color - Dolphin Grey. It should be better than black for fishing at night. If you drop something on a black floor at night, you would never find it without using a light. And you might end up stepping on things laying on the deck. Things should show up pretty good on a gray floor at night if the moon and stars are out. White and light gray would show dirt and stains really bad. Several members of a boat forum said that they did their boat with it and it came out good. I'm going to go ahead and paint the top of the deck with marine primer and paint first. Then I'm going to use an aluminum primer on the sides of the boat before I apply the Grizzly grip stuff.

Sounds like a good plan.
When I first saw the "Color Seletion" I thought you were going to "multi tile" it with different colors. |

When I did my pickup the stuff I used had a Lacquer base and would blister any other paint it touched. Learned that one the hard way.

Boat floor?
BOAT FLOOR? BOAT FLOOR? AARRRGGGHHH! SIR! Boats do NOT have floors! BOATS HAVE DECKS! And I quote an old Bosun's mate from years ago; "Ships and boats do not have floors, they have 'Decks', they do not have walls, they have 'Bulkheads', they do not have rooms they have 'Compartments' and they do not have ceilings, they have 'Overheads'. Now youse guys better remember that and get it right or I'll throw you out that little round window over there!" Regards, ... |

My boat has a front end, and ass end. And a left side and a right side. None of them swab jockey terms in my boat.

And two thousand years of nautical tradition and terminology is discarded in the blink of an eye, faster than a $10 TJ hoe with your wallet and a $20 bill. A sad sight indeed! Regards, |
