Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Our wood fence posts ( which are very common here) normally last about 25-30 years if done properly, , just make sure there is concrete above the ground level so water runs off. Heck the wood Venice is standing on is under water and still good after a thousand years.

Iíll try to tomorrow, but it is completely

all apart...not much to see but a pile of

The hardest part so far has been stripping

Yes .
Paint stripping , in a word , sucks .
A necessary evil.

Venice doesn't make sense .
It defies logic .

I saw a documentary on Venice .
The sand for the concrete was different than
it is today, which is why Venice and the
Coliseum is still standing .

I donít use chemical strippers

I mainly use knives...

Chemical strippers open up the pores

of the wood and allow the paint to soak

in...I stripped an upright piano once, with

a knife and some broken pieces of glass

If you liked using glass (I do) try using a flake of obsidian, volcanic glass...really sharp...easy to flake and can even be used in brain surgery.

Thank you , Sir .
I have been around the block a few times and
have lived a different life experience than most.
I wish my "Renaissance" made me a better plumber ,
and included an education with a wood router.
I like wood work , but my stuff would be on a
whole new level if I wood router chops.

I would like to learn canning , jerking meat and
making my own ammo like country folk.

I have made a decent living with a guitar in my hand ,
( Educated at Berklee College Of Music in Boston )
while at the same time having a very active career
as a cop in the borough of Manhattan South .
I made it out of the Trade Center alive.
It wasn't my time. I have lived that horrific piece
of American History first hand .

"Retirement" has been colorful, to say the least.
It has been anything but "retirement".
Who knows what tomorrow brings .
If my time comes tomorrow, I've had a good run.

Stay out of harm's way.
Journey well.
God speed,
MERC

It wasn't always that way. In the '90's, all they had were hotties working as cashiers. We'd practically fight to see who got to go get supplies at Home Depot for a job.

Then, one day, the hotties were gone. I think they got sued like Hooters and other places did.

Why work at Home Depot ?
In the age of the Internet , good looking girls
can stay home and have some pay site that
will make them a ton more money than
Home Depot offers .
