Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

You're having too much fun. Ever score some real black powder? That makes them even more fun than Pyrodex.

I have 2 colts, 2 ubertis and the rest are EMF Hartford Connecticut models.

I bought another Colt 7 1/2" nickel .45 yesterday on gobroker.

To be honest.....The EMF's and Ubertis shoot just as well or better as the colts and the blueing on the EMF is equal to Colt....Colt has nicer case colors and harder screws ...The screws on the italian guns get buggered very easily because they are so soft.

Im not a big fan of the birdshead pistol i have.......im going to change the back strap to a standard SAA...I just don't like the way it fits my hand.

I have a makeshift western town shooting range in the desert where i shoot....it consists of 2 abandon buildings and a corral that i ride my mountain bike out to and shoot..I have 2 metal target torso silhouettes that i have hidden out there that i set up and shoot over & over..the big .45 slugs knock them right over...It is fun as hell.

What is a nicer Gun the EMF or Uberti? Ive been looking at those and the ruger stuff

I know my AWA is extremely nice and tight fit and finish

Funny of the SAs I own, I still dont own a ruger. I like the old 3 screw rugers

Looks like some of those 7 1/2" in the middle have a longer grip frame. Do they? which brand?

In case any one here is curious... the polish blue jobs of the EMF Hartford models are equal to the colts i own.

For 500 bucks for an italian pistol it's hard to justify spendind 4x the money for a Colt IMHO

IMO i like the EMF hartford Conn. model that was made by ASM in Italy better than the Uberti.....These are only available on the used market now ...The Blueing and polish is better IMO, so is the color case hardening compared to the uberti...They say the EMF hartford models have parts interchangeable with colt but this isn't exactly true....I tried to put a Colt saa .45 cylinder in a EMF and it wont fit into the cylinder window of the frame....But it wont fit the Uberti either...The Colt Cylinder is about 15-20 thousands of an inch longer than the Italian replicas.

The colt is a better gun but not $1500 dollars better......My italian replicas are just as accurate and i wont be too bothered if i drop it in the rocks like i would if my colt fell in the rocks.

I bought the colts just because of the mystique of owning them.....i shoot the italian guns much more.

Sanders, believe it or not real black powder is only available from one gun shop in Avondale (like a 2-1/2 hr drive round trip) so i have only ever fired these with pyrodex or Unique & bullseye smokeless.....You would think real black would be more readily available in the phoenix area ...But its not.

.45 Colt is very fun and easy to reload....the brass cases seem to last forever...I have some .45 colt brass that i have reloaded at least 40 times and its still good and holds the primers tight.

I buy all my reloading components from dillion in scottsdale.

You have a lot better collection of cowboy guns than I do. I don't have any colts.

My pair of large frame old style Ruger Vaqueros fit my big hand better. Both of them are .45 Long Colt.

My Ruger Blacktop Flattop is in .44 Magnum.

And I have a black powder Remington Army reproduction.

And I have a Ruger covertible .22. It has a .22 LR cylinder and a .22 Magnum cylinder.

I am going to have to take new photograph some of my guns.

I have a Pietta 1851 Navy Black Powder Revolver 36 Caliber... Paid about $99.00 many years ago

After I put a nice crown on the end of the barrel it is very accurate
