Now is the time to stock up on primers
They are available again. You couldn't hardly find any small rifle or small pistol for a while.
Cabelas has them for $24.99 a thousand for Sellier & Bellot Primers. I stocked up with 5,000 of each.

That beats Wideners price plus no hazmat fee which is a deal killer unless buying a huge quantity.

There will be a hazmat unless you can buy it off the shelf in a store. There isn't any Cabelas near me. So I had to pay a $20 hazmat fee.

Last time I ordered powder or primers the hazmat was $28.50. Did it go down or does Cabelas use a lower rate? Hmmm?

Starting to run low on large pistol and small rifle primers.
I was pretty shocked when I saw prices at Sportsman's Warehouse last month of $40/1000 on small rifle primers. Maybe I'll wander over and take a look. Sure wish Varget would come back in stock, though. I haven't seen that on the shelf anywhere, in more than a year. Reckon they are loading the non-existent .22 LR with it?

Wideners hazmat shipping charge is now $30. Graf and Sons is the same. That's a deal killer in my book.

Get together with a couple of buddies and do a "group buy" from Powder Valley. The last time I did that I got 4 lbs of powder and 2 bricks of primers and my share of the combined shipping and hazmat fee was $11.
