Tokarev Collection
Well fellers, got my shipment from SOG today. The Polish TTC was in better shape than I expected, though the holster is kinda dryed out. The Romanian is a little rougher than expected with some surface pitting on the slide and frame, but the holster is good and it came with a lanyard, plus the extra mag was still packed in cosmo and wrapped in paper (torn off now).
I took em apart and cleaned them up. Not too bad, with the exception of the magazines which were all crapped up inside (nothing a good cleaning didnt fix). So now I have 6 Toks 1947 Russian-no import or safety 1951 Hungarian-no import or safety 1952 Polish-CAI+forward safety 1953-Romanian-CAI+forward safety 19??-Yugo-PW ARMS+rear safety 19??-Chinese 213A-Sportarms+rear safety....9mm double stack I'd take pics but my camera died so I'll have to post those later. I guess now I need War Era Russian, North Korean, Hungarian Tokagypt, Chinese single stack 9mm, and Chinese 7.62x25. I need a Russian holster and extra mag, Hungarian mag and grips, and Chinese holster to complete these as sets at least (and lanyards for all but the Hungarian and Romanian). Any other Tokarev's out there? It would be awesome to get 1 of each....N.K. will be a challenge though. But then I can worry about getting non-import/modified ones.
