Computer Time and date problem
Why do I get this page that below. Its on my Thunderbird email before I open a new email. I notice when I search and open wikipedia, yahoo weather, and some other various web sites I get this error page too
Seems like maybe a 'setting' is turned off or something Quote:

I keep my calendar and time up. Or I would have had the same problem.
Thanks for the Heads Up! |

You must have a 'default setting' that's going automatic.

I set it twice this morning. It works for a couple minutes and then I check it again and the clock had stopped again. Made sure I clicked OK when I was done too What should the "internet time settings" be set at? Mine is set to 'time.windows.com' Hmm, the clock is still stopping |

Did you check the box for "Automatically synchronize with an Internet server?"
I have "Time" in the bottom corner of my active icons. Double click on that and their window comes up. |

Was it upon start up this morning your clock and date were incorrect? If so, then the mother board need a new battery.

I turned all the stuff off and back on. See if that fixes it. I walk away and do something, come back and check the time at the bottom right corner and the clock keeps stopping |

Ok looks like when the laptop goes to 'sleep' and or if I close the lid, It will go back to the time I last set it at.
Like I set it a 10:54: AM, it ran untill 11:32 (I wrote it down with a pen and paper). Went outside and worked, came back in at 12:20 PM and the clock was back at 10:54am again |

Are you setting time by 'Date and Time' or 'Internet Time'?
Use the former.
