Henry Homesteader 9mm?
This looks like a fun range plinker and I love the traditional design. Anyone have any trigger time on one? Think its worth the MSRP?

And you can get one that accepts
a Glock magazine…so you can pair it up with your sidearm…and poke a 30 rounder in it… I didn’t see a price on it though |

The Ruger PC9 accepts Glock mags too actually I have a few 33 rounders for it and you can cut in half and carry it in a backpack. Neat rifle.

That's pretty steep for a Henry.

I only have a Henry 22 bought back in 99 to go by, but I think it was pretty nice for the price, especially coming standard with a walnut stock. No flaws in workmanship. My only complaint would be they used a plastic barrel band instead of blued steel. Minor, but it's a detail that bugs me to this day. Ranks right up there with using Phillips head screws on a firearm, like Hi-Point does.

I watched a Utube video on the new Henry carbine and it wasn't positive. The thing kept jamming. Regardless, I wouldn't pay top dollar for a newly designed firearm.

The quality of the one Henry I own is excellent. But it's a lever action .22 LR "Frontier" model.
They do seem to have hiccups when they take on a semi-auto design. I recall their survival rifle had some bugs when it first came out, and gained a bad reputation for reliability. Apparently, this model has some pretty bad issues with the Henry-designed mags, but seems to run all right with Glock mags using an adapter. One thing about Henry is they won't shirk their customer service. They'll make it right. But ~$1,000 for a pistol caliber carbine, which is basically a plinker? It sure looks nice, but I'll pass. I have a Ruger PC carbine that takes Glock mags and does everything just fine.

The Ruger seems like a better design if one wants to use Glock magazines. Getting them to run on Glock magazines has always been an issue for PCCs and sub guns. The most reliable magazines are true SMG magazines like the MP5, MPX, or CZ Scorpion.
