my 60 semi build
Thanks to that hooligan buzgun I have completly drained our christmas fund to build a semi 60 , here are a few pics of my progress , I am machining the rails and trunion from scratch with all the nfa compliant features JRW incorperated in there design . Much thanks to Buzgun for helping me make heads or tails of the JRW "prints"

I have always liked the 60. It's too bad that you can't have all the "Happy" parts to make her talk to you like she should. Good work!!!

You know, I'd be very tempted to trade everything I know and all my computer stuff to have the skills and tools. If only it were possible.

Thanks , I too love machining for the same reason , you end up with something cool in the end, the computers make it even better since they can operate the machine while I am off looking at por...uh...portholes, yeah thats what I meant
I am going to finish this one up next week so I can clear the bench and finish my semi FN30 and dive into the semi PKM |

Panecea that looks Great!
The Trunnion looks just like a GI one , you are VERY skilled sir!!!! There is something about the "LOOK" of the older M60 that i cant describe but i like it more than the E3 version , probably all those Vietnam photos i looked at on the school library computer. I am sorry i forgot to send you the photos of the riveting tools , do you still need them? Let me know and i promise to send them to you this time.

I would like to see a pic of the jigs to kind of get my bearing before I start riveting. I still need to make the pivot pins for the trip assembly in the left rail and drill the channel to match and do all the bolt mods . I also need to find an early style bbl lever with the detent ball
