Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Looks great Pogo. I do have one minor suggestion though. Turn that rear sight aperature around. It's backwards.

Well, I'll be dang. I didn't notice that.

I can see that now, from the way the peep sight is beveled. That would have made a foggy looking picture when you were trying to focus on something.

I have a feeling it may be one of my favorite shooting modern firearms. Even more than my Bushmaster. I just like the power of a .308 or 30-06.

I sure as hell loved my stg58 more than my bushmaster, and for the same reason... Yeh I said it in past tense...

How is the quality of the stock set? I know you are not easily satisfied and won't settle for junk. Is it similar to what was originally on the rifle, quality-wise?

I'm looking at one of their Coyote Brown sets that are blemished. Cosmetics don't bother me as much, because it can be cleaned up.

It fits quite well. The weight of the butt stock was a few ounces lighter than the original, but it feels quite sturdy.

Keep in mind that I bought the premium set, and they also have a less expensive set. I don't know what the difference is, if any. Perhaps they just charge more money to those who are willing to pay more, and send the same thing. Sorta like when you pay that hand select fees for C&R firearms.

Anyways, I'd buy it again.

I have two sets of desert tan Penguin furnature, economy grade. Only thing I see is that the holes where they fill mold need to be cleaned up a little. No biggie if you plan to paint or apply a camo scheme or just aren't picky.

There was one sprue that wasn't trimmed good on the bottom of my buttstock. But, all I had to do was to trim it with my pocket knife and take some 200 grit sandpaper and smooth it down.

Well, I sent off an order for the blemished set of Coyote Brown. We'll see how it looks.
