After much debate with myself, I've decided to have a dedicated car gun for emergencies. Its pretty secure and out of reach (ergo...no quick access), but its there if I should need it.

I have that same sling, set up the same way with all the weight on the front instead of in the back.

That ought to do the trick. 20 rounds of #00 buck on the sling and more in the tube. Enough to deter any "wilding teens" to lay off Snake's ride.

Good luck on that unless you want to pay double retail price. Finally found one 6 hour ride round trip and had to settle for 20 gauge.
