Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

I went to the show with the intention of buying a real 1870's colt saa......but......after walking the show and seeing the real colts that were available i got cold feet......i don't know enough about them to avoid buying one that has "issues"......I wanted one with a 7 1/2" barrel because despite what hollywood puts out the 7 1/2" barreled colt saa's were the only barrel length available from colt for a long time in the old west era and most of the documented famous/infamous gunfighters used them.........I now need a holster.....im going to get a authentic 1870's style slim jim or double loop holster for this along with a belt with bullet loops in them.

When I was spending a lot of time in the White Mountains, my carry piece was a Ruger .44 with a 4.75 in barrel. I carried it in a shoulder rig that the maker called a John Wesley Hardin rig. It was a SlimJim type holster with three pair of bullet loops down the face of it. It's not where I can put my hands on it at the moment, but I think it was El Paso that made it.

I wish them older colt type pistols did not have such small grips on them. I had one like that in .357...shot out ONE cylinder load...sat on it for ten-fifteen years and sold it at a gunshow. It was just plain uncomfortable to shoot.

I'll do you a favor and point you to a good, and fairly affordable holster maker (compared to other custom makers). I have one of their holsters for my 1911, and plan on getting more from these guys as finances allow.

Italians make some good guns. It should be a good shooter. Remember to not carry it with a cartridge in the top chamber

Here is the holster I ended up getting.... I wanted one more authentic old west than Hollywood ...it wasn't expensive at all....$40 for the holster and $25 for the belt with 25ea .45 bullet loops.
