there are alot more both edible weeds/plants and medicinal plants/weeds out there..and many are better for you than what big pharma puts out and with little to no side effects... over the years the powers to be have both breed and genetically altered many vegetables to be less healthy and longer lasting in the fridge...
burdock is another great one and grows all over, the roots, stalk and seeds are all edible and used in medicine for thousands of years..

My yard is infested with mallow. Guess I'll have to find some the dogs haven't been pissing on to put in my salad.
