Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Old map

I bought an old school history text book which has an interesting map of the United States.
When most people think of the Texas revolution and the Alamo they think of Texas as it exists now but if you look at the Mexican Province of Texas, you can get a better idea of the size of the original territory and why the Alamo was so important because of its location on the border.

Note the date in the bottom right corner of the picture. The book was published in 1836, same year as Texas independence.

Nice grab Eightball.
My father in retirement was an antique collector dealer and I got to pour over lots and lots of very old reference books.
Amazing how the world was still little undiscovered back in the 1700s into the early 1800s. Reading about Africa was the most interesting. Lot of animal species were really still rumors in reference books with the gorilla being one of the funniest from his 1700s books.
