Indian Roxor Jeep
I saw them in SLC before the import ban. $17K for a cheap Indian copy of a 1955 Willys. With no heater or windshield wipers.
Then I watched a video of one in snowy/muddy weather in Colorado. Compared to my CJ7 and my 2 Wranglers, the Indian Roxor Jeep SUCKED. Not sure what was wrong with it. Maybe crap tires or unresponsive suspension. Plus it had open differentials. You can take my name off the waiting list for a Roxor Jeep. I will pass.

I think I read their made right here in America I may be wrong? Not so fast on these rigs now their 'not' road legal just yet I do believe. Guess their a high end inexpensive off road 4 wheeler for woods and ranch type use?
Their close to a huge contract with the U.S.P.S. and if they get that their on a roll. Problem their having is a law suit with the Jeep Willy's co. with patent infringements or some dang thing? Jeep has competition now with the new Ford Bronco. They probably don't want any more if these things do come out for street use. https://www.google.com/search?q=roxo...CZDT78gEN00kNM

Yup they will I would bet also. Now that is just the off road git around for family fun. Their on road would have to meet all the safety requirements to sell here.
It looks close enough it appears that the courts won't even let them import parts. This will get interesting. |

That’s like the mini-truck market
They say that they are unsafe for the roads but have you seen those little cars that are about 6’ long? |

2021 Ford Bronco. Check out this competition for the Jeep. Stats such as clearance etc. are pretty close to the jeep and the base price comes in at $30,000. |

There is only one Jeep, everything else is just a bad copy.

I saw a guy on youtube compare the Roxor to a beat to shit 1940s Willys flat fender.
The Roxor had very little suspension travel. That is why it is bad off road. The Indian engineers did not know that springs are supposed to flex. |

I don't believe that Roxor was ever intended to be more than a gimmicky farm and ranch utility vehicle like a Gator. But, you know American off-road enthusiasts - we can never leave well enough alone. We always have to squeeze every bit of performance out of something that was never intended to do what we want it to do.

U beat me to it again...I'll just blame it on a 'distraction' but the truth b known, 'Jeep' is an old term from cartoons from the silent film era even...and the current common usage of the term as a 'copyright' issue just might not b enough to work.
They also copied the 'Royal Enfield' motorcycles too...next!
