I cancelled my Optics Planet order because they had not shipped after 3 days and then the recording said my boots were on back order.

Reordered same boots from amazon Friday, they arrived this morning Saturday

That is one thing I truly hate. When a website makes no indication that they are out of stock on something. Yet they gladly take your money and still don't tell you. The only way to find out is if you contact them (and even that is hit or miss).

Yup Snake I am constantly buying and selling off the picture talking machine here. But yes your correct. Some let yah know about packing and shipping delays and others let yah hold yer man tool waiting.
What pisses me off is the "OUT OF STOCK" after you give them all your info. including CC number. WTF tell me up front or I will have my brother Merc kick yer frigging asses.

I have heard that Optics Planet is known to have a lot of their stuff for sale, then two weeks after not shipping it, you find it on back order.

I don't think I have heard any positive feedback about Optics Planet since the Wooflu panic started. Everything I hear is they ship slow as shit if they ship at all.

I do a lot of business with Amazon because of its convenience; only problem I ever had was an empty box was delivered...on my complaint they made it instantly good...sometimes stuff is coming from China (r elsewhere) and I get it three days later even though the delivery date may have been shown to be over a month out...shit, what a shame USPS can't get that one right...though admittedly, they have improved in recent years.
