Borescopes, any recommendations?

I’ve never had a bore scope, it’s always been one of the “ I’m going to buy “ but never do things.

With me inheriting a few rifles that have been sitting in a closet for a few decades I should probably get one.

Anyone have any recommendations? I would prefer one with a screen instead of connecting to a phone. No idea what my budget is or should be for this.

For guns you really want one with a right angle mirror. Lets you see the rifling and bolt recess areas better. This is the one I've been using for the last 2 years. Quite happy with it. It's not currently available, which probably means there's a new version out. It's one that connects to the phone, but I'm sure you can find something similar.

Most important thing to look for is something that's got a .21" probe or smaller! Learn from my first mistake. Anything bigger and you won't be able to check the bore on your 22 LR or 556.
