Are you looking to get a heart attack?

I go see a doctor pretty regularly. My last doctor ran labs every 3 months. If I was at risk for a heart attack my labs would show the risks of heart attack.

I found a package of some biscuit mix in the pantry of undetermined age and figured I'd make some biscuits and gravy this morning. I made my biscuits a little on the thin side, figuring they'd rise up some. But, they didn't. They came out like crackers - no leavening at all. Didn't taste bad, but dang. I told my wife they were British biscuits.

The box I used I tossed out. If you have a lot just add baking powder & baking soda. Contact Betty Crocker they will send you a coupon for a free box.

It was some off brand that my wife's sister probably got from the food pantry and gave to my wife because it would have required her to put forth some effort to make. Who knows how old it was before I even got it.

I like my 2-ingredient biscuits -- self rising flour and heavy cream. Makes fluffy, tasty biscuits every time.

I have a buddy who use to make the best skillet biscuits. No measuring, no bowl from scratch. He always used Buttermilk.
