The Spicy Addition That'll Change Your Peanut Butter And Jelly Sandwiches Forever

A peanut butter and jelly sandwich is the ultimate kids' comfort food that many people have brought with them into adulthood, a quick, easy, and filling snack that conjures up happy childhood memories by taste alone. But if you're going to have peanut butter and jelly as an adult, you may want to jazz things up a bit, and what better way to do that than with a pop of heat? Pull out that bottle of red sauce with the rooster on the front and spice up your PB&J with sriracha.

If you're looking for a way to revamp your classic peanut butter and jelly, consider adding this one spicy ingredient to make a supremely swicy sandwich.

I haven't tried this yet but I will since I like PBJs for a quick lunch sometimes. My wife makes datil pepper jelly and that is what I usually use on my PB sammiches. Red pepper jelly is good too.

Sweet Jesus RTO if I ate a P&J with that hot sauce sheeet added? I would be in the ER laying down looking up at the light. Damn. 😫
Peanut butter storage tip from 4th. The PB is loaded with good peanut oil. When you store it in the fridge on the counter whatever? Leave the jar upside down with the screw off top on the bottom. No more dry need a chisel to get the PB out. When you turn the jar to open it will be soft just like the day yah bought it the oils have now flowed to what has become the top again.
More tips to follow. Like? Store extra bread in the freezer it actually helps improve the bread. Storing bread in the fridge makes it go stale twice as fast.

It goes well with spicy jams and peppers - I've had peanutbutter stuffed jalapenos, before.

Another use for peanutbutter - as a condiment on a cheeseburger. Just make sure you use pickles or pickled onions for the acidity to offset it.
