Wild 125 MPH Pursuit Ends in Total Disaster After Police Car Theft

Few miles up the road here toward Ocala. Ugly chick stole the cruiser. She had a long rap sheet and killed herself and sadly 3 people in the truck.

The cruisers in my county all have an "idle lock". When activated, you can leave the car running and walk away with the key in your pocket. Nobody can drive it. It's not used all the time and probably wouldn't have been used in the situation you describe. If a deputy needs to jump out for a quick second, he may not activate it.

My neighbor buddy L.O. said the female was setting a record for the longest rap sheet. Local news here has people real upset with the L.O. for the whole way this sad thing went down. Every thing from he should have shot the tire out to how the hell did she get by him to steal the damn car?
Lots of high speed driving on that stretch of road it cuts across and through the Ocala Nat. Forest. Every week someone is dying on that road.

That was a bad one. Well that walking crime spree is likely getting pitch forked right now.

When I had my business we put brake kill switches on for the City of Jax and FHP cars so that when the cars were left running pressing the brake pedal to put it in gear would shut the vehicle off. Simple device and all the LEO had to do to activate was turn a hidden switch on. We did a lot of fleet work for car dealerships (before delivery) that were near my business.
