Our chemistry lab at my high school had to have the bomb squad called in because of 2 jars of picric acid that had been there since the school was built in 1958. Bad stuff if it crystallizes

I read about Bannerman's castle some time back. Imagine their were thousands of civil war canteens new in crates they were getting rid of? Several crates of gatling guns like brand new that were torn apart for their brass. Their must have been tons of collectable items sitting around that place? Probably old guns Bannerman's son is not talking about I would bet money on.
