Badlands National Park is a good park for photography. So is Theodore Roosevelt National Park. And they arent as busy as other national parks.

Beautiful animals, but give them wide berth as they are very dangerous. Unfortunately, some people want to get up close to one!

I can see how someone with half a brain (like most people) get mauled or gored by buffalo. They appear and behave like docile gentle giants. But I've seen enough videos of people trying to pet them that I was willing to sit and wait in my truck for a long time if this one decided not to move out of the way.
